The Secretariat will arrange shuttle service when you arrive at Kaohsiung. You can find the shuttle buses at THSR Zuoying Station, Kaohsiung International Airport and The Splendor Kaohsiung Hotel. Please download the Shuttle Service of Conference.pdf here.

Kaohsiung, which is located in southwest Taiwan and about 360km from Taipei, is the second biggest city and famous harbor city in Taiwan. The transportation in Kaohsiung is very convenient. The Kaohsiung International Airport is just in the city, from which you can fly to and from any major city in Taiwan and neighboring countries, such as Japan, Shanghai and South Korea. Passengers from other distant countries can take shuttle flights from Taoyuan International Airport to Kaohsiung which will take only 45 minutes. In addition to the air transportation, passengers can also take Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) from Taoyuan International Airport to the Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung in 1 hour 40 minutes.  KRTC (Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation) system has already connected the Kaohsiung International Airport and the THSR Zuoying Station. You can transfer to the KRTC at the airport or THSR station and arrive at the city in very short time.

From international airport or Taiwan High Speed Rail to the venue

Participants, from Kaohsiung international airport or Zuoying station of Taiwan High Speed Rail, can use KRTC transfer conveniently to arrive conference venue. Please refer to the red line of KRTC transfer information (http://www.krtco.com.tw/service/service-3_3a.aspx) or below map. The Splendor Hotel is in a 85 storey building near R8 station of KRTC red line. From R8 station to the Splendor at Tzu-Chiang 3rd Rd, needs about 5 to 10 minutes by walk.

Taiwan high speed rail

 With the opening of the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR), visitors can now easily take a day trip between Kaohsiung and Taipei. Currently eight stations are operational on the THSR line along Taiwan's western corridor: Taipei, Banqiao, Taoyuan(near  Airport), Hsinchu, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Zuoying (Kaohsiung), and three more are in the planning stage.
